Although Jean-Baptiste has a Masters in chemistry and a diploma from the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises de Bordeaux (The Institute of Company Administration), he is above all an oenologist.
With fifteen years’ experience in the field of bordelaise winegrowing, he has also worked in the Languedoc, the Gers and the Loire. His taste for travelling and meeting new people have led him to build wineries, and plant vines in Spain, the Balkans and the Middle-East.
His calling stems from the nature of wine itself and its cultural, historical, social, and of course, festive sides.
Aware of the impact of vine growing on natural resources and the environment, he is convinced that organic farming is just a step towards a new agriculture which will restore the soil’s fertility, promote biodiversity and contribute to the preservation of air and water quality.
